It is situated in a south-facing elevated position, with uninterrupted views of the Matterhorn. The tranquil woodland surroundings where the natural wildlife roam freely adds to its’ charm. From the bottom of its’ cable car it is just a 5-minute walk to Klein Matterhorn departure station and 7-8-minute walk to the centre of the Zermatt. The north facing aspect of the chalet offers stunning views of the village.

Chalet Sunnubiela has been renovated using local wood and natural materials and combined with large glass windows and glass internal features, it ensures maximum natural light and magnificent views.
The owners have created a beautiful, luxurious and modern yet cosy residence. It is the perfect place to relax, in complete privacy, whilst still being close local amenities (lifts, shops, restaurants, children’s play area).
The chalet is accessed by its’ own cable car (the last remaining one in Switzerland that can carry passengers) and also accessible by a well-maintained footpath.

Features

This luxury 4-storey chalet comprises 6 bedrooms (3 doubles (with wash basin) and 3 singles). There are 2 shower rooms (WC/wash basin), a guest WC and an enticing wellness area with infrared sauna that has a double Jacuzzi-bath, a separate shower which can be used as an additional bathroom/shower facility.
The spacious lounge has a modern wood-burning fireplace. It overlooks the garden terrace with its’ breath-taking views of the Matterhorn. It is equipped with Smart TV (with numerous international channels), DVD, Apple TV box, CD/Radio. There is strong WiFi throughout the chalet.

Dining

The dining area boasts a unique, hand-made natural wood dining table that comfortably seats 10. It is open plan to the lounge and kitchen. The whole area is triple aspect with spectacular views in every direction. The modern kitchen is fully equipped to suit your needs (dishwasher, capsule coffee machine, oven, steamer oven, microwave, raclette, fondue).

Recharge and Relax

The wellness area on the lower level with infrared sauna, jacuzzi bath and shower offer the perfect therapy for a pampering day or after a tough day in the mountains. Massage, physiotherapy and reflexology can be arranged in the chalet on request.
Daily housekeeping and mid-week linen change are included as part of the package. Zermatt Apartment Rentals team will be on hand to ensure that everything is to your satisfaction and deal with any requests that you may have.

Reservation Terms and Conditions:
To secure a reservation:
A deposit of 30% is required within 10 days of the date of confirmation date. Without prior arrangement, failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the booking. The balance payment is due 45 days before the arrival date.
Preferred method of payment: Bank Transfer , Credit Card
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation 90 days prior to arrival: Refundable deposit minus administration costs of Fr. 300.00
Less than 90 days prior to arrival: non-refundable deposit
Less than 45 days prior to arrival: Full payment due unless property is booked by another party. Administration charges will be applicable.
*Renters are liable for any damage to the rented property and its’ contents and will be asked to sign a damage indemnity on arrival.
